# Welcome

ChatbotIQ turns your website, documentation, or knowledge base into an AI-powered chatbot that gives accurate, source-cited answers. Point it at your content, and it handles the rest: crawling pages, understanding them, and answering your visitors' questions in natural language.

No AI expertise needed. We have prepared the setup flow so you don't need to be an expert and still get great results out of your chatbot. You need just your content and few minutes for basic configuration - the rest is handled by the Chatbotiq platform.

The main goal of the Chatbotiq is to fill the gap between low-quality self service AI chatbot services and over-priced sales-led solutions that aim to enterprise customers.

## What ChatbotIQ does

It is simple. You give it your content. It gives your visitors answers (with an option to contact a human within the same chat dialog).

Here's the short version:

1. **You add a source:** Paste a website URL, upload a PDF, or type in Q\&A pairs manually.\

2. **ChatbotIQ reads and understands it:** Chatbotiq evaluates your content and choose the right settings for you particular website. Then it crawls every page, breaks the content into smart chunks, and builds a searchable knowledge base.
3. **You create a chatbot**: Choose type of your content, the bot settings will be adjusted accordinl. Pick an AI model, tune the base prompt if needed, and choose which sources it should know about.\

4. **Design you chat widget**: This is the important part. Design the chat widget so it matches your style and attracts your site's visitors.\

5. **You embed it on your site:** Copy the provided code into your website's HTML.
6. **Your visitors get real answers:** They ask questions in plain language and get accurate responses with links back to the original source.
